Join FMCSA Webinar about Passenger Transportation Interpretive Rule that Clarifies Federal Regulations

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is hosting a webinar on Wednesday of this week about the Agency’s Interpretive Rule that clarifies how the Agency regulates entities that transport passengers.  This webinar is for any organization, business, or entity that transports passengers, and other interested stakeholders and individuals.

FMCSA Interpretive Rule Webinar

Date/Time: Wednesday, July 12 at 2 p.m. EDT. Register here.

This interpretive rule clarifies how the various FMCSA regulations and requirements apply to various types of passenger transportation.  Organizations and businesses that transport passengers must understand and fully comply with the regulatory requirements that exist to protect everyone traveling on our nation’s roadways.

The regulations and requirements consist of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), including financial responsibility regulations for motor carriers of passengers operating in interstate commerce; and commercial operating authority registration related requirements for motor carriers of passengers when operating for-hire in interstate commerce.

Please visit FMCSA’s online resource page to learn more about passenger carrier regulations.
